Major milestone of Yadadri development

 

Raigir railway station located in between the Kazipet Jn - Secunderabad Jn railway route. The new name for Raigir railway station is YADADRI, according to a statement released by SC Railway 21st September 2020. This proposal was given by Honorable CM Shri KCR to Central Government in the year 2016. The renaming of this station has taken effect from September 18th, 2020.

         

As of now,  only passenger trains have the stop at this station. The government is thinking of a plan making to permit a stop for express trains for pilgrims comfort. So that pilgrims from all the places will easily visit Yadadri. At present this station has a two-tracks broad gauge system. Raigir now calling it as Yadadri station is 4 km away from Yadagirigutta and 14km from Bhongir. According to future demand, this station may have one or more additional tracks. TS Government's main agenda is to develop Yadagirigutta (YADARI) as an international temple city.
