Shadnagar is a Town in Rangareddy district in Hyderabad. As per the 2019 records population is 50,545. This area is located in the South of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad Pharma City (HPC)                                                                     Pharma city project declared by the Telangana state government with a planned project cost Rs 5157.79 crores and 19331.2 acres of land in the Kandukur, Yacharam(Medipalli) and Kadthal Mandals near to Shadnagar. Shadnagar railway station is around 38km from the project site. This area is to be urbanized as  National Investment and Manufacturing Zone IV (NIMZ IV) and is meant for the pharma industrial segment. The Pharma City project will offer substantial employment potential during the construction and operation phases. Hence the rate of the plot in a residential zone will have demand.

A Light Rail Transit (LRT) system has been proposed for public transportation within the HPC. Statue of Equality                                                                                               As you know world's 1st biggest statue of 300 feet is Budda in Thailand. The next one is 216 ft height with  INR 1000 Crore budget is the second largest sitting statue in 34 acres land. It is made of panchaloha (Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass and Titanium). Shri Ramanujacharya sitting statue is located at the distance from Shadnagar is 25 km drive.

P&G is the World's largest consumer goods company, one of it's manufacturing (beauty, grooming and household items) plant in 170 acres area at Shadnagar zone by investing INR 600 Crore. It is ranked as World's 4th manufacturing unit. This unit is 6km from Shadnagar and Kotur. The capacity of the plant is 5000 employees per shift. There is a plan of 300 acres expansion, hence employment potency will increase accordingly.

Amazon   

Amazon, the global e-commerce giant established biggest Fulfilment Centre in India at Kothur, which is very near to Shadnagar. IT Minister Telangana state Mr. K T Rao inaugurated the Warehouse which is having a capacity of 2.5 million square feet campus. This Warehouse is the biggest campus outside the United States of America and the budget of the project is INR 1800 Crores. Around 15000 employees are required to function of this unit.

Zoological Park

At present Zoological park is located at Rajendranagar. This was established on 6th October 1963 and named as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Zoological Park. Around 1500 animals and various birds are spread across in 380 acres of zoo land. But due to the present population and industrial crowd, animals' health condition is deteriorating. TS Government already planed and shifting this near to Kammadanam village, Shadnagar. In Kammadanam 947 acres forest land is available and civil work activities are stared for a new Zoological park. In the first phase, this university is having 800 students admissions in different courses like MBA, BBA, LLB and BA. This University is offering 107 courses in India for national and international students.

The new name for Raigir railway station is YADADRI, according to a statement released by SC Railway 21st September 2020.
